Sailing South for Fish

We decided that this weekend would be a good time to sail south into warmer waters in search of sashimi for the wife.  We planned on two to three days and wanted to make it into Mexican waters because the water temperatures down there are closer to the upper 60’s.  As it turned out, we decided to stay in Dana Point and troll along the coast.  We had a few bites, but did not catch anything.

Alas, we ended up back at Dana Point marina, at anchor.  We dropped a few lines in the water to see if we could catch dinner here.  There should be some Halibut and Bass down there, so we’ll see what happens.

Pictures and more to come.
